A : Hello sir, I’m Budi, today I’m your guide.
B : Mr. Budi, Where are we now?
A : We’re in Fatahillah Museum. The biggest museum in Jakarta and this is place that witness of Indonesian independence, and we’re in yard of the Museum.
B : What the function of this build in the past?
A : In the past, this build as the town hall that consist of office room, courtroom and dungeon
B : How wonderful place it is. Wait, what is that?
A : That is Jagur cannon.
B : What the history of Jagur cannon?
A : The Jagur Cannon is made in 16 century by N.T Boccaro and in that time Portuguese used it for defend his authority in Malaka. In 1641 when Malaka fell to Netherlands - VOC that got Portuguese’s fortress and then they found this cannon and brought it to here.
B : Come on to inside of the museum.
A : Welcome in the inside of the museum. The first I will show you the handicraft such as earthenware, epigraph, and rock.
B : Wow the earthenware so unique.
A : OK we’re going to second floor.
B : For what the big window in the centre of this floor?
A : In that time, this window used by Dutch leader to command his soldier did the death punishment for Indonesian captive that placed in the middle of the yard.
B : Let see the collections of this floor.
A : The collection of this floor are household, and bed of Dutch heritage. But, I will show you the scariest part of this Museum.
B : Wow, What is that?
A : Come on to underground of the museum, there is the dungeon there.
B : Why the dungeon so small and stuffy?
A : This dungeon deliberately created for locked up the prisoners who against the Dutch’s rules and not only that their feet also fastened by this balls iron. Because this dungeon so small many prisoner who die here. No wonder, if visitors come at night often hear the scream of prisoners who had died. I think enough for today and thank you for visit Indonesia.
